Economy, parallelism and clear revision

Remove grammatical ambiguity and unnecessary density while retaining meaning and appropriate emphasis.

The rule

Keep coordinated elements structurally parallel. Revise overloaded sentences to clarify actors and relationships without dropping qualifications or changing the claim.

parallel: zu prüfen und zu ergänzen · klare Rollen · verständliche Satzlänge

Coordinate phrases of compatible function: two noun phrases, two infinitive clauses or two finite clauses.

An omitted auxiliary or complement must be recoverable with compatible grammar. Otherwise repeat it or restructure.

Reducing nominal density can reveal the agent and timeline; replacing every noun phrase with a clause is not always necessary.

Details and useful distinctions

Prefer a relative clause to an overloaded attribute when it makes the intended relation easier to follow.

Length alone does not determine quality. A long sentence with clear structure can be easier than several fragments with vague reference.

Practise this grammar

Revise in three passes: meaning and responsibility, sentence structure, then form and punctuation.
