Spoken and written standard
Recognise conversational structures while producing clear standard prose for formal contexts.
The rule
Spoken language can rely on shared context and recoverable omissions. Formal writing usually needs more explicit reference and boundaries; judge choices against the situation.
gesprochen: Kontext / Ellipse · geschrieben: explizite Bezüge und klare Satzgrenzen
Spoken interaction relies on shared context, intonation, repair and recoverable ellipsis; formal prose must make more of this explicit.
Conversational weil with verb-second can organise a justification differently from an integrated subordinate reason. Use verb-final weil in neutral formal production.
Perfekt versus Präteritum often reflects register and region rather than a simple correctness distinction.
