C1 report: sources, time and agency
Write a structured report that keeps chronology, reporting and responsibility clear.
The rule
Distinguish observed events, attributed accounts and your evaluation. Keep source, time and agency explicit, and limit conclusions to what the evidence supports.
Quelle → Bericht → zeitlicher Bezug → Prüfung → begrenztes Urteil
A report should state its sources and separate an observed event from an attributed account or later evaluation.
Use reported speech consistently when summarising a source, with perfect forms for earlier events and explicit dates where needed.
Choose active or passive by the purpose of the sentence. A process focus should not hide a responsibility essential to the report.
